Electronic leak detection (ELD) is placing a high voltage charge over an earthed substrate to locate pinholes or breaches in the membrane system liquid or sheet so they can be repaired prior to surface covering. This method is recognized by Australian Standards at detecting membrane failure and as a result will help with remediation cost of removing surface coverings.
